Standard equipment is provided with all rentals, including paddles, PFDs, and safety kits.
Terms and Conditions
Security Deposits:
* A cash or e-transfer damage deposit in the amount of $500.00 is required for each kayak, paddle board and lily pad rented.
* A cash or e-transfer damage deposit in the amount of $600.00 is required for each canoe; peddle boat and row boat rented.
Payment: Cash or e-transfer is required in full. Free delivery in Orillia.
Damages & Lost Equipment:
* At our sole discretion, the ‘Renter’ will be charged up to MSRP less 10% for repairs or excessive depreciation as a result of misuse or abuse, including those damages incurred as a result of dragging the craft over ground. * Please treat our equipment with respect (as if it were your own) to avoid any additional charges.
* Lost or stolen equipment will charged at MSRP less 10% including the craft, PFDs, paddles, safety kits, and other accessories provided as part of the rental.
* A $10 charge will be applied for each rental unit returned that requires cleaning as a result of trash left in the craft, excessive water inside the crafts, dirt, sand, or other debris inside and outside the craft.
Deposit Returned: All security deposits will be returned when the equipment returned, inspected by staff, and deemed to be in good condition.
Right of Refusal:
* PaddleWaddle Kayak & Canoe Rental reserves the right to refuse rental in cases where we — at our sole discretion — feel there would be an unreasonable danger to the individual or any other person as a result of, but not limited to:
* Suspected intoxication; verbal or physical abuse of staff; physical ability;
adverse weather conditions; or perceived erratic behavior.
Liability Waiver:
* As paddling involves inherent risk, all renters over 18 years will be required to sign a release of liability waiver.
* Individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
* After Hours Drop-Off & Return. After hours return must be prearranged in advance and may incur additional charges.
* PaddleWaddle Kayak & Canoe Rental respects your privacy. All signed
documentation bearing personal information is returned on-site upon termination of the rental agreement.
Cancellation & Early Return Policy:
* A minimum of 24 hours advance notice of cancellation is required for all multi-day rentals.
* A minimum of 48 hours advance notice of cancellation is required for multi-day rentals of 3 craft or more crafts.
* A rental fee equivalent to $50 is applied to each cancelled craft not meeting the advance notice requirements.
* No refund for early returns.
Delivery Outside Orillia:
Delivery arrangements may be available at an additional charge. ($1.50/KM total travel distance)
